Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Manager, Production Planning, Materials, Import and Purchasing to lead the site’s integrated planning, materials management, procurement, and inbound logistics. You will align production requirements with material availability, manage supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement across planning, purchasing and import activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in production planning, materials management, procurement, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production to align demand, capacity and delivery commitments.
• Own MPS and support S&OP to balance demand, supply and capacity.
• Oversee finite capacity planning and schedule adherence.
• Manage shortages, prioritization and recovery to restore schedule stability.
• Lead material planning, inventory policy, and supplier performance.
• Oversee inbound logistics, customs, and import compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sourcing, Finance, Engineering and Commercial.
