Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Purchasing Scheduler to lead the development and execution of purchasing processes for a global segment within the Materials Management Organization. You will negotiate, plan, and execute purchases, and manage a global supply plan to meet delivery, quality, and cost targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, or Supply Chain (or a high school diploma with 3 years' manufacturing or materials planning experience).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, or Supply Chain or a HS diploma with 3+ years in manufacturing or materials planning.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and a global supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Create and release Purchase Orders to support the primary schedule.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal planners to drive on-time delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships for PO execution and scheduling changes.
• Keep ERP data up to date with current supply state.
• Apply sourcing policies and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Support lead time reduction, NPI, payment terms, and cash flow improvements.
• Manage projects in a matrix global organization.
• Be the primary contact for supplier operational needs.
