Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in materials R&D.
• Expertise in materials characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, DSC).
• Proven track record of successful material innovation and development projects.
• Strong understanding of structure-property relationships in metals, polymers, or ceramics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into the synthesis, processing, and characterization of novel materials, including polymers, composites, and ceramics.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate material properties such as mechanical strength, thermal stability, and electrical conductivity.
• Develop and implement testing protocols and quality control procedures for new materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to scale up material production and integration.
• Analyze material failure modes and propose solutions to enhance durability and performance.
