Job summary

Terracon in Tampa, FL is seeking a Materials Project Manager to lead small to mid-size construction materials engineering projects from planning through closeout. You will ensure safe, on-time delivery within scope and budget, coordinating project controls, field operations, materials testing, procurement, forecasting, change management, quality, and client liaison.

The role requires coordinating across office, field, laboratory and client environments, travel to sites, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in construction materials testing/inspection or PM for materials projects.
• Experience with project controls, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract admin.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders and sites.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead scope, schedule, budgets, forecasts, risk, quality, and project controls.
• Develop execution plans with clients and NAM.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety planning and compliance.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, labs.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, closeout.
