Job summary
SPX Cooling Technologies, part of SPX Technologies, seeks a Materials Planner to support material sourcing, inventory control, and production scheduling for large-scale HVAC equipment. You will work with SAP and ERP systems, coordinate with Stores and JIT teams, and ensure timely delivery for assemblies and line readiness.
Ideal candidates have an Associates degree or technical training, production experience, and strong skills in Excel and SAP.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or technical program completion required.
- Previous experience in a production environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Computer proficiency required.
Responsibilities
- Lead material sourcing decisions impacting monthly/quarterly revenue recognition.
- Run shortage reports and audit purchased part availability.
- Correct inventory errors in SAP based on part availability.
- Review and validate production schedules from SAP.
- Coordinate with JIT and Stores to ensure line readiness and on-time ship dates.
- Support tower rework and tooling needs with supervisors.
