Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Materials Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Certification in Materials Management and Quality preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years applicable purchasing/materials management experience in a world-class, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of supply chain systems including MRPII/JIT and related manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and materials management activities including order placement, supplier evaluation/ certification, follow-up and price negotiation.
• Matrix responsibilities for Production Planning's manufacturing resource-planning activities and data accuracy.
• Monitor shipping/receiving performance and investigate discrepancies.
• Utilize tracking systems (PHconnect, PFEP, S&OP) and manage materials metrics.
• Define and implement automated systems to plan and track material flow from customers through procurement to delivery.
