Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineer to support the Lunar Permanence unit in Denver, CO. You will provide broad M&P engineering support for aerospace-grade EEE materials and processes, including PCB/PWA, cables, connectors, finishes, and conformal coatings, ensuring compliance with IPC and NASA standards.

The role involves signatory review of engineering drawings, supplier qualification, First Article Inspection, and development of standardized material

Qualifications

• 8+ years of M&P engineering experience in aerospace/space/high reliability hardware.
• Expertise with aerospace EEE components: PCB/PCBA, cable, connectors, finishes.
• Familiar with IPC/NASA workmanship standards and qualification methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad M&P support for aerospace grade EEE materials and processes.
• Support design reviews and sign-off of drawings for EEE parts/assemblies.
• Coordinate qualification, supplier qualification, and First Article inspections.
• Develop internal processes to standardize material evaluation and qualification.
