Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in purchasing, supply chain, procurement, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in SCM.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (Infor LN, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Site Materials Planning strategies to support business goals and ensure efficient materials flow.
• Align supply plans with sales forecasts, proposals, and production schedules.
• Provides sound leadership to the team and ensures excellence in performance.
• Develops and maintains Materials Planning KPIs aligned to Business KPIs and measures performance.
• Develops and maintains excellent relationships with Supply Chain peers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions using lean tools and standard work.
• Develop and enforce material planning policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective supply of materials.
• Lead regular material planning meetings to review plans and address issues.
• Communicate material plans, forecasts, and strategies to senior management.
• Track KPIs related to material planning.
• Manage and mentor a team of material planners.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
