Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas is seeking a Senior Materials Manager to lead the Integrated Supply Chain and Fort Worth operations. You will oversee all production scheduling, materials planning, and supplier performance while driving lean initiatives and continuous improvement to meet on-time shipping and inventory goals.

Responsibilities include organizing staff, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning production plans to the SIOP consensus plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the integrated functions of materials management in a manufacturing environment that has embraced lean concepts, MRP manufacturing practices, and progressive supplier relationships.
• Minimum of three (3) years of managerial experience focusing on standardizing planning and execution, reducing sourcing complexity, and talent development.
• Experience with rate-based or flow line (non-MRP) and job shop manufacturing environments.
• Experience with visual management systems.
• In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement and distribution) and a superior understanding of manufacturing material flow in a plant.

Responsibilities

• Primary site materials management lead and point of contact.
• Optimize scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, materials movement and supplier performance.
• Implement and maintain Materials and SIOP standard work playbook processes and systems.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, Product Management and Quality to support strategic goals.
• Develop countermeasures for underperforming processes and suppliers.
• Provide leadership in personnel development and lean manufacturing objectives.
• Manage suppliers, materials, and inventory in a Lean Six-Sigma environment.
• Ensure on-time shipping and customer requirements; strive for operational excellence.
