Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years in materials/inventory control in high-volume manufacturing or repair environments (8,000+ SKUs).
  • 7+ years leadership experience, including managing managers.
  • End-to-end supply chain experience: procurement, planning, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Proven track record managing serialized inventory and leading physical inventories.
  • Strong data analysis skills (advanced Excel).
  • Background in logistics, warehousing, and shipping operations.

Job description

The Senior Materials Manager leads inventory accuracy, control, and movement across high-volume operations. This role ensures efficient, compliant processes that support production, fulfillment, and customer SLAs. You will partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Planning, and Operations to drive performance, reduce WIP aging, and continuously improve materials flow.

This is an onsite role in our Irving TX Facility.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this role?
  • Lead inventory control strategy across receiving, storage, movement, cycle counting, and shipping

What are the requirements needed for this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
  • Oracle ERP experience (especially reverse logistics/remanufacturing)
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, WIP management, and planning
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience
  • APICS/CPIM certification
  • Experience in high-change, deadline-driven environments

Pay Range:

$88,000.00 - $147,000.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
