Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Senior Materials Manager in Irving, TX to lead inventory control across receiving, storage, movement, and shipping. You will drive accuracy of serialized inventory, optimize WIP flow, and partner with Procurement and Planning to meet customer SLAs and demand requirements.

You will establish KPIs, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions while building scalable processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years in materials/inventory control in high-volume manufacturing or repair environments (8,000+ SKUs)
• 7+ years leadership experience, including managing managers
• Experience with end-to-end supply chain: procurement, planning, inventory control, and distribution
• Proven track record managing serialized inventory and leading physical inventories
• Strong data analysis skills (advanced Excel required)
• Background in logistics, warehousing, and shipping operations

The Senior Materials Manager leads inventory accuracy, control, and movement across high-volume operations. This role ensures efficient, compliant processes that support production, fulfillment, and customer SLAs. You will partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Planning, and Operations to drive performance, reduce WIP aging, and continuously improve materials flow. This is an onsite role in our Irving TX Facility.

• APICS/CPIM certification
• Experience in high-change, deadline-driven environments

Pay Range: $88,000.00 - $147,000.00. Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
