Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Materials Management Associate IV to lead warehouse functions such as receipt, inspection, and inventory control. You will support process improvements and operate under defined SOPs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, ERP data maintenance, and ensuring timely shipping and material handling across sites, with an emphasis on accuracy, safety, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

6+ years in distribution or warehouse operations.
4+ years using Warehouse Management/ERP systems.
Strong communication across functions.
Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Receipt, inspection, verification, and inventory reporting for incoming materials.
Report and resolve receiving issues through the RMA process.
Maintain cycle counts and ERP records in a timely manner.
Maintain inventory accuracy 98%+ via cycle/physical counts.
Oversee Kanban replenishment and proper material transfers.
Ensure materials requiring QC are transferred to holding locations.
Coordinate receipt details with relevant departments.
Ensure safe transport of materials between sites and compliance with SOPs.
