Lonza in Houston, TX is hiring a Materials Handler III to manage receipt, storage, movements, and inventory control of raw materials and supplies for GMP manufacturing. The role emphasizes accurate data, ERP usage, and compliance with cGMP and site procedures.

It involves supporting production, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The position is site-based with potential for up to 20% remote work on a case-by-case basis.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of warehouse/materials handling experience.
• Experience in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical or biotech preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials and shipments.
• Move materials between warehouse, production, labs, and staging areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and investigations of discrepancies.
• Support production by staging and issuing materials per schedule.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and FIFO/FEFO compliance.
• Follow GDP and 5S practices and participate in audits.
