Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: 12+ years hands-on pharma manufacturing/warehouse experience; or 10+ years with Associate; or 8+ years with Bachelor’s.
• Knowledge of cGMP practices for materials management, manufacturing, shipping, receiving and computer systems.
• Ability to maintain exact and detailed records.
• Knowledge of safe materials management procedures and practices.
• Expertise with SAP or similar ERP system.
• Experience with operation of mechanical materials management equipment.
• Training/experience with handling and storage of hazardous materials and controlled substances.
• Ability to execute a work plan and adapt to schedule changes.
• Ability to train staff in managing material inventory.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and internet functions.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must not have interaction with pigs outside of the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure timely receipt, storage, issuance, and shipment of materials.
• Plan and procure facility supplies and storage within budgetary requirements.
• Manage direct material inventory and expensed material stock levels; perform physical counts.
• Coordinate with Operations and Quality to ensure materials are released and available for use or shipment.
• Ensure materials are managed safely and in compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Author and revise material control SOPs.
• Build relationships across functions and with external suppliers to identify value and improvement opportunities.
• Lead in planning process and material flow, equipment, and supply needs for the facility.
• Provide SAP and material control training and leadership to facility staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
