Job summary

Frymaster in Shreveport, LA, is seeking a Material Handler III- Transfer Specialist to ensure smooth material flow and inventory accuracy. You will coordinate across production control, purchasing, shipping, service, and engineering while maintaining records and supporting daily production needs.

The role requires 1–2 years of forklift and inventory management experience, with the ability to operate forklifts and other handling equipment safely in a warehouse/production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years forklift experience and inventory management.
• Experience driving a 26 ft box truck with air brakes.
• Familiarity with Kanban and inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist departments to support production goals and inventory flow.
• Track work in process to meet daily requirements and transfer inventory between locations.
• Maintain accurate records, perform cycle counts, and manage reorder dispatch systems.
• Operate material handling equipment and uphold safety standards.
