Material Handlers

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour - $27.00/hour on W2, depending on experience

Work Schedule:

Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday | 5:00 pm - 3:30 am

Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday | 5:00 am - 5:30 pm

Work Type: Onsite – Shreveport, LA 71107

Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Additional Information: Standard License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.

Raise is currently hiring a Material Handler on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the movement, transportation, and storage of materials.
• Load and unload shipments and transfer materials between storage areas and production lines.
• Receive incoming materials.
• Prepare and distribute materials to the designated production or assembly areas.
• Maintain accurate records of all material transactions.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of forklift experience.
• Experience in inventory management are preferred.
• Experience in supply chain warehousing activities or equivalent roles are preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
