Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is hiring a Material Stocker to stock, issue, and move a variety of materials and products in the plant. You will frequently lift boxes up to 45 lbs, verify inventories, and transport materials as needed to support production lines.

You will operate material handling equipment, assist in training peers, and participate in improving workflows while maintaining a neat, safe work area. A 90-day probation and Workday application process apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 8+ hours per day and 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Stock, issue, and move materials and products; lift boxes up to 45 lbs.
• Maintain and verify accurate inventory of materials handled.
• Supply parts for lines and transport materials through the plant as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment to move material throughout the plant.
• Disassemble, sort, repair, and salvage products as required.
• Ensure quality and quantity of work produced.
• Assist in training other associates.
• Flex into the line as needed and lead when supervisor is absent.
• Keep work area neat, orderly, and safe.
• Plan and organize daily line schedule; lead cell in absence of team lead.
• Identify and implement improvement ideas in the work area.
