Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise to support production shifts. You will ensure safe and efficient operation of the forklift and RF barcode equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will handle loading and unloading trucks, assist as order filler and checker, and support production lines by delivering materials and removing finished goods. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years forklift experience.
• 1-3 years experience in loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience in a fast pace manufacturing/shipping environment.
• Ability to operate computers and radio frequency bar code equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains supplies of materials to production floor.
• Removes finished products from the lines.
• Removes goods from the shrink wrap area to the yard.
• Hangs bags of raw materials for the extruders.
• Clears out trash boxes and waste, scrap, and cut boards.
• Weighs up scrap and maintains proper paperwork for end of shifts.
• Keeps warehouse and storage areas neat and clean, including outside dumpster pad.
• Maintains proper inventory by using correct scanning procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
