Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5-7 years of material planning, supply chain, or production planning experience.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Deltek CostPoint, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage advanced material requirements plans (MRP) to support production schedules and contract deliverables.
• Analyze long-term demand forecasts, schedules, and inventory trends for availability and cost efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address planning challenges and implement solutions.
• Serve as primary contact for material planning issues and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely PO placement and material delivery.
• Optimize inventory levels, reduce excess, and minimize waste.
• Adjust material plans for changes in production, contracts, or unforeseen events.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Leverage data analytics and ERP capabilities to drive planning innovations.
• Manage daily activities of direct reports.
