Job summary

AzuriaWater Solutions is seeking a Material Planner to forecast, plan, and purchase chemicals, resin, stock tube, and other materials across eight manufacturing sites. You will partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance to maintain production readiness.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or supply chain, 3+ years in procurement or inventory management, strong data analytics, and proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or supply chain.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, planning, or inventory management.
• Broad understanding of Supply Chain concepts: demand planning, buying, inventory management, SIOP.
• Critical thinking with ability to mine, transform, and analyze large data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office Suite proficiency, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Ability to travel domestically ~20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and manage material stocking levels to maximize inventory efficiency.
• Expedite or defer delivery dates to meet plant requirements while controlling inventory.
• Participate in SIOP and production meetings and report on days on hand, in transit, and open POs.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements with Procurement.
• Track price changes and ensure PO contracts and rebates are honored.
• Oversee monthly cycle counts and variance reviews for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Identify process improvements and digitization efforts (Power BI) with cross-functional teams.
• Create work instructions and SOPs to standardize material processes.
• Own Wet Out inventory and ensure transaction integrity across facilities.
