Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Ivyland, PA is seeking a Material Planning & SIOP Specialist to develop and align MPS with the SIOP plan, manage inventory and KPI reporting, and collaborate with Purchasing and Product Management. The role emphasizes data integrity, supplier lead times, and supporting new product launches.

Applicants should have 5+ years in inventory or procurement, experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards), and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in inventory, procurement or equivalent experience in operations roles.
1+ years of experience managing and updating large volumes of data related to Material Planning parameters.
1+ years of experience with JD Edwards or another ERP system.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Create, manage, and direct continual development of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure alignment with the SIOP plan.
Develop and maintain the key SIOP business metrics and reports; monitor KPIs for shipment trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
Establish and optimize material planning parameters to support delivery performance and inventory turns.
Analyze on-hand inventory and identify under/over planned parts; determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Review and maintain master data to ensure proper MRP results; develop templates to manage usage data.
Lead lead time updates with suppliers and buyers; support new product launches with proper material planning.
