Job summary

Sammons Industrial on-site role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding material handling equipment to manufacturer specifications. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, failure analysis, and basic welding to keep customer equipment safe and operational.

We value 3+ years of forklift repair or related mechanical experience, the ability to read precision instruments, strong customer service, and Briggs/Hyster-Yale certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of forklift repair or related mechanical experience.
• Ability to read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; certification on at least 65% of the Briggs Equipment product line; Hyster-Yale certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspection, failure analysis, and basic welding.
• Put safety first by following OSHA, DOT, and company requirements.
• Keep accurate service records and support the team.
