Job summary

Schaeffler Transmission Systems, LLC in Wooster, OH is seeking a Material Handler III for 2nd shift to manage loading, unloading, and material movement within plant. You will handle deliveries to drivers, transport materials to designated locations, and ensure accurate documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to follow instructions in English, basic IT skills, and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE
