Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Logistics Associate to support loading/unloading, material movement, and accurate documentation at our Wooster, OH facility. You will work with SAP and MS Office, follow English instructions, and adhere to PPE and safety rules.

This on-site role offers 2nd/3rd shift premiums, medical/dental/vision insurance, life coverage, and a 401(k) with company match. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
• Multiple years of experience in logistics preferred, manufacturing environment a plus.
• Experience working with IT & SAP systems.
• Ability to operate transportation machinery.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers.
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants.
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
