Job summary

Schaeffler is hiring for a Material Handler III on the 3rd shift in Wooster, OH. You will manage loading/unloading, material deliveries, internal transports, and labeling of goods while ensuring safety and PPE compliance.

Required high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, basic computer skills, and ability to lift heavy objects. SAP experience is preferred; manufacturing logistics background a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers.
• Deliver raw materials and goods to designated location in the plants.
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.
• Pick, pack and label different goods (raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods).
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE.
