Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks a COS Material Handler III to support receiving, storage, and shipping operations across the warehouse. You will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, accuracy, and efficient order fulfillment.

The role requires forklift operation, familiarity with warehouse systems, and adherence to safety standards. This position is on-site and offers competitive benefits aligned with a large national distributor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely.
• Experience with inventory management systems and HVAC wholesale industry knowledge.
• OSHA familiarity and safety procedures preferred; Johnstone experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (forklift, pallet jack, RF devices) to locate and move products.
• Receive shipments and verify against packing lists and paperwork.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders; maintain accurate stock from receiving to shipping.
• Support inventory cycle counts and participate in training of peers.
• Maintain safe working environment and proper PPE usage; report safety concerns.
