Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Lancaster, TX is seeking a Material Handler III to support warehouse operations. You will handle receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of HVAC products, using forklifts and related equipment.

You will ensure accurate paperwork and inventory control, training teammates as needed. The role requires forklift experience, knowledge of inventory systems, and OSHA safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and competently.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices.
• OSHA safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack) to locate, store, and move products.
• Receive products by unloading trucks and inspecting shipments.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and properly documented.
• Verify bar codes and stock numbers; print labels; resolve labeling discrepancies.
• Fill orders by picking, packing, and labeling items.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; participate in inventory counts.
• Train new employees and educate team on changes to procedures.
