Job summary
Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks a Shipping and Receiving professional to support receipt, movement, preparation, and shipment of materials. You will verify quantities, weights, and conformance to requirements while operating material-handling equipment and maintaining accurate data records.
You will prepare shipping documents, lay out crates, and route items to destinations. The role blends hands-on material handling with clerical tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Operate material handling equipment.
- Operate small box truck and pickup trucks.
- Able to obtain forklift certification and drivers qualification.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Prioritize internal and external program and customer needs.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify quantities.
- Prepare materials for shipment and generate shipping documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Route materials to appropriate destinations and maintain records.
- Lay out and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes as needed.
- Support warehouse operations to ensure timely deliveries.
