Job summary

Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Material Handler Specialist in Receiving to ensure timely receipt and availability of materials for programs. You will work with internal program customers in a dynamic, team environment.

Duties include loading/unloading, forklift operation, opening containers, recording in SAP, researching NRIs, and coordinating with engineers, material planners, and buyers. Some tasks may include inventory management and shipping for growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related receiving, warehouse, or inventory management experience.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50-75 lbs).
• Valid U.S. driver's license; U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD clearance.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials from trucks and move them onto/off pallets, trays, and racks.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other devices to convey materials.
• Open containers, count/weigh materials, inspect for damage, and verify counts.
• Record receipts in SAP; research and reconcile NRIs.
• Collaborate with engineers, material planners, and buyers on receipts status and discrepancies.
• Possibly perform inventory management/shipping tasks and cross-train for growth.
