Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks a Shipping and Receiving professional to support receipt, movement, preparation, and shipment of materials. You will verify quantities, weights, and conformance to requirements while operating material-handling equipment and maintaining accurate data records.

You will prepare shipping documents, lay out crates, and route items to destinations. The role blends hands-on material handling with clerical tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Operate material handling equipment.
  • Operate small box truck and pickup trucks.
  • Able to obtain forklift certification and drivers qualification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Prioritize internal and external program and customer needs.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.

THE WORK

As a Shipping and Receiving professional, you will perform manual and clerical duties supporting the receipt, movement, preparation, and shipment of materials. You will receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment while verifying quantities, weights, and conformance to applicable requirements. You will operate hand trucks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment and use computer systems to maintain accurate shipping and receiving data and records. You will prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, and route materials to the appropriate destinations. You may also lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, as well as prepare parts, tooling, and other materials for special shipment.

You are comfortable working in a hands-on environment and can balance physical material-handling responsibilities with computer-based and clerical tasks.

Desired Skills
  • Motivated person who seeks a career in warehouse operations
  • Prior warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience is highly desired.
  • Knowledge and experience with Lockheed Martin Automated Depot Information System (ADIS) and Procure to Pay (P2P).
  • Experience with warehouse sustainment operations.
  • Familiar with military /commercial shipments and Depot Inducting/Receiving activities.
  • Prior experience with Military Supply/ Warehouse Operations.
  • Familiar with standard military documents including DD1348s, DD250s and DD1149s.
Basic Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift up-to 40-lbs.
  • Operate material handling equipment.
  • Operate a small box truck and pickup trucks.
  • Able to pass a physical to obtain a forklift certification and drivers qualification to operate vehicles.
  • Prior experience using computer data input tools and with Microsoft Office suite (outlook, excel, word, etc.)
  • Experience with prioritizing internal and external program and customer needs.
  • Must have the ability to obtain clearance.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $35600.00 - $66000.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
