Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Mankato, MN is seeking a Sr. Material Flow Planner to design and optimize end-to-end material flow processes across the supply chain, driving efficiency and reducing waste.

The role focuses on planning complex logistics, implementing SAP-compatible solutions, and applying LEAN principles to deliver cost-effective, integrated planning. Relocation assistance is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 4 years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 2 years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize material flow by implementing end-to-end processes, leveraging LEAN principles to ensure efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure seamless integration across the supply chain.
• Plan and coordinate complex, cross-functional Logistics processes involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement and enhance IT-supported Logistics planning tools, considering new and modified planning methods.
• Develop timelines, resource allocation strategies, and cost calculations to support Logistics and supply chain initiatives.
• Design, model, and implement SAP-compatible system solutions tailored to business requirements.
