Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Mankato, MN seeks a Sr. Material Flow Planner to design and optimize end-to-end material flow processes, driving efficiency and reducing waste across the supply chain. You will leverage LEAN principles, coordinate cross-functional logistics, and implement SAP-compatible solutions to support business growth.

The role requires a mix of degrees and/or experience in logistics planning or material flow design, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 4 years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 2 years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize material flow by implementing end-to-end processes using LEAN to improve efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate complex cross-functional logistics processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Implement and enhance IT-supported logistics planning tools.
• Develop timelines, resources, and cost calculations for logistics initiatives.
• Design, model, and implement SAP-compatible system solutions.
