Job summary

The Boeing Company in California is seeking an Experienced Material Financial Analyst (Level 3) to support non-labor, material cost accounts for Platform and Integrate Product Teams (IPTs), partnering with assigned IPTs to reconcile costs on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA).
• 3+ years of work experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets.

Responsibilities

• Develops resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs
• Initiates analysis of: resource forecasts and/or control account EACs; financial EACs
• Compiles data from multiple sources and develops performance reports
• Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management
• Makes recommendations to management on financial performance projections
• Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends
