Job summary

Zeigler Lincoln of Kalamazoo is seeking a Senior Master Technician who is Ford-certified to join our team. You will perform a wide range of mechanical services, diagnose and repair complex issues, and provide outstanding customer service to clients at our Kalamazoo dealership.

Ideal candidates will have a strong automotive background, Master Technician certification, Ford and ASE certifications, and at least 5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician, with Master Technician preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of mechanical services on various vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Provide accurate and detailed reports of repairs and services performed.
• Ensure all work follows manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Maintain and update technical knowledge through training and certifications.

• Perform a wide range of mechanical services on various vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Provide accurate and detailed reports of repairs and services performed.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and follows manufacturer specifications.
• Continually maintain and update technical knowledge and skills through training and certifications.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and services and address any concerns or questions.
• Collaborate with the service team to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ford Certification
• ASE Certification
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a Master Technician certification preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of automotive systems, mechanics, and components.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
