Job summary

Zehnder Rittling in Western New York is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Manufacturing Master Scheduler & Planner to lead production planning and scheduling across our manufacturing operations.

This role develops the master production schedule, balances demand with capacity, manages inventory, and ensures on-time delivery while collaborating with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Customer Service and Sales to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience.
• Experience developing and managing master production schedules.
• Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute the Master Production Schedule to meet demand.
• Balance capacity, labor, material constraints, and priorities.
• Coordinate schedule adjustments due to demand changes or disruptions.
• Track schedule adherence and implement corrective actions.
• Review forecasts and inventory to plan production.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Participate in S&OP and capacity planning.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
