Job summary

The University of Southern California (USC) seeks a Student Services Advisor III within the Master’s Student Services team to lead admissions and advising efforts for master’s programs. You will supervise advisors, ensure policy adherence, and coordinate student data and services across multiple programs.

The role focuses on counseling prospective and current graduate students, planning recruitment strategies, and maintaining detailed records and reports for internal and external use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; combined experience/education acceptable.
• Direct experience leading student services and admissions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Ability to plan, develop and implement advising models.

Responsibilities

• Manages admissions and advising activities within the Master’s Student Services team.
• Supervises student services advisors and admissions counselors.
• Develops and implements program goals and strategies.
• Provides training for staff and assesses trainee readiness.
• Maintains student records and coordinates enrollment and degree progress.
• Advises on curriculum, graduation requirements and policies.
