Job summary

Penn Color, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Master Production Scheduler / Supply Planner to develop and manage a long-term production schedule and supply plan within a complex, high-mix manufacturing environment.

This role translates demand, forecasts, inventory, capacity, and material constraints into a time-phased master plan while collaborating with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, and IT to support Oracle SCM initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in master production scheduling or supply planning.
• Experience in high-mix manufacturing with many SKUs and frequent changeovers.
• Ability to model scenarios and rough-cut capacity planning.
• Experience with Oracle SCM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a time-phased master production schedule balancing demand, inventory, capacity, material availability, and constraints.
• Translate approved demand plans into production requirements by item, location, and planning period.
• Establish timing and quantities for make-to-hold, make-to-stock, and make-to-order finished goods.
• Model supply-and-demand scenarios and identify risks to inventory and service levels.
• Communicate constraints and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
