Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks a Senior Analyst, Customer Master Data & Analytics, to lead governance, data quality, and operational excellence across SAP S/4HANA and related systems to enable accurate OTC execution and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee DSP/Syniti platforms, drive AI‑enabled automation, partner cross‑functionally, and deliver executive reporting on KPIs and data performance. This role requires 5+ years in MDM/Data Governance and strong Excel, SQL, and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data & Analytics
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end OTC processes
• Ability to influence, drive change, and operate independently in a global organization
• Proven experience leading process improvement and data quality initiatives with governance focus
• Strong project management capabilities, incl. Smartsheet or similar tools
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to translate direction into insights
• High proficiency in Excel
• Hands‑on experience with SQL Server, Power BI, Oracle, and data modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Master Data vision, roadmap, and governance framework across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems
• Serve as the senior point of contact for Customer Master Data across multiple functions
• Define and enforce global data standards, stewardship practices, and data quality controls
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Customer Master Data processes
• Oversee DSP workflows (Syniti) including intake, validation, approvals, stewardship, escalation, and audit readiness
• Deliver executive‑level reporting and analytics on data quality, KPIs, and performance
• Support end‑to‑end project delivery including SAP enhancements, integrations, and data remediation
• Lead medium‑to‑large initiatives using Smartsheet project management methodology
• Maintain and update Customer Master Data SOPs and country variants
• Drive AI‑enabled automation initiatives such as duplicate detection and intelligent validation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, privacy, and SOX requirements
