Job summary

Riverside Research is seeking a MASINT Phenomenology SME to support NASIC advanced capability development within the MASINT enterprise. The ideal candidate will have MASINT phenomenology experience and the ability to adapt emerging technologies to MASINT processing, exploitation, and dissemination.

Proven work with complex sensor systems and cross‑functional collaboration with government, industry, and research partners is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Master's degree in Physics, Computer Engineering, Space Systems, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in EO/IR systems engineering, RADAR engineering, or related mission areas.
• Demonstrated experience with MASINT data formats, processing workflows, or PED tools.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose sensor and/or PED tool performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis on emerging technologies that can be applied to MASINT mission sets.
• Evaluate sensor and capability developments and advise on integration into existing or future architectures.
• Provide technical recommendations for advancing signal processing, AI/ML integration, and data fusion.
• Support development of CONOPS, white papers, technical documentation, and transition plans for emerging sensor capabilities and new processing architectures.
• Coordinate across stakeholders to identify and document requirements for future capability enhancement.
• Collaborate with research organizations, DoD stakeholders, and external agencies to evaluate and integrate emerging collection and exploitation technologies.
