• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines.
• Strong design sensibility and branding experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The Senior Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting our pursuit efforts, helping to develop strong proposals, presentations, and related materials that position our teams well to win. Pursuits are the primary focus of this role, and much of the work centers on creating well-written, accurate, and visually polished content. In addition to pursuits, the Specialist also contributes to events, communications, graphics, data management, and other marketing needs as they arise. This position works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our marketing deliverables are consistent and effective.

The duties, responsibilities, and attributes of a Senior Marketing Specialist typically include, but are not limited to:

Requests for Qualifications/Proposals and Interviews:

• o Produce SOQ’s, prequalification, and proposals for all markets and delivery methods
• o Support the presentation process with interview materials, such as PowerPoint presentations and leave-behinds

Standard Department Resources:

• o Create and update master documents and maintain digital filing structure
• o Open Asset utilization for project sheets and resumes
• o Develop and maintain marketing templates (InDesign, PowerPoint, Canva, Emma, etc.)
• o Provide support to the Marketing and Project Development Departments, as needed

Corporate Marketing, External:

• o Update website content
• o Create content for all social media platforms
• o Assist in coordinating special events
• o>> Assist in creating advertisements, e-mail blasts, award submittals, and other collateral

Corporate Marketing, Internal:

• o Assist in the development of presentations and materials for internal events
• o Create intranet posts and newsletters

Requirements

Qualifications Required:

• Four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or other applicable discipline
• Minimum of 5-8 years of industry/relevant experience
• Relevant industry knowledge and familiarity
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills
• Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines.
• Technology savvy with a discerning eye for good design
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), WordPress, Canva, CRM (or related client management system), and OpenAsset (or other DAM platform).
