ams OSRAM USA Inc. in Plano, Texas, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for Optical Sensors to drive revenue growth and shape opportunities in the US region.

You will translate sensor capabilities into customer opportunities, lead regional marketing initiatives, and collaborate with Sales, Product Lines, Application Engineering, and Channel Partners. Applicants should have a technical degree, experience in semiconductor/electronics, strong communication, and willingness to travel.

Formación

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable technical field; a business qualification is a plus.
• Proven experience in the semiconductor or electronic components industry, ideally with exposure to optical sensors and application-driven business development.
• Ability to understand and articulate complex sensor portfolios and discuss technical concepts with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills with engineers, purchasing and management.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset and ability to turn opportunities into concrete actions.
• Experience working with Sales to develop opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills across an international matrix.
• Experience with distributors and reps, including enablement and joint opportunity development.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region and occasionally globally.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and develop regional growth opportunities across priority applications and IOS sensor portfolio.
• Drive end-customer engagements for must-win design-in and design-win opportunities with Sales and technical teams.
• Align customer needs with portfolio priorities with regional marketing and global Product Lines.
• Conduct regular growth reviews with Sales to track priorities and progress.
• Support regional funnel management with transparency, prioritization and escalation.
• Develop Mass Market business with distributors and reps through enablement and engagement.
• Capture regional market trends and competitive insights to inform portfolio positioning and go-to-market activities.
• Support regional promotional activities such as customer tech-days, tradeshows, exhibitions and campaigns.
