Job summary

ams OSRAM in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive growth of our Optical Interconnect business by aligning customers, partners, engineering, and leadership. You will support engagement, positioning, and content creation to communicate value effectively.

The role requires 5+ years in product marketing or related roles, a degree in engineering/physics/marketing, and travel up to 25%. On-site, full-time position with competitive base compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in product marketing, product management, business development, or technical sales.
• Experience in semiconductors, photonics, optical communications, datacenter infrastructure, or related technologies preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support customer meetings, technical reviews, and commercial discussions.
• Develop and maintain customer-facing presentations, messaging, and value propositions.
• Generate content for blogs, webinars, conference presentations, and executive communications.
• Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities.
• Support business development activities, ecosystem partnerships, and lead generation efforts.
• Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to translate technology into clear customer benefits.
• Help define go-to-market strategies for next-generation optical interconnect products.
