Marketing Lead – Strategic Business Segments (Public Sector Services and Private Equity)

Full-Time Position in New York/New Jersey, or Washington, D.C. (Hybrid/Travel)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy and execution for two of HCLTech’s newly established Strategic Business Segments (SBS): Public Sector Services (PSS) and Private Equity (PE). This is a pivotal role designed to embed marketing into the heart of our business strategy—driving brand visibility, generating high-quality leads, and delivering measurable ROI across multiple channels.

The ideal candidate will bring 7–8 years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked with or within public sector organizations. This position reports to the Head of Americas Marketing and works in close partnership with senior business leaders to ensure that marketing initiatives are directly aligned with the vision and objectives of the SBS organization.

In this strategic role, you will lead the end-to-end development and execution of marketing plans for PSS and PE. This includes working cross-functionally to define go-to-market strategies, shape segment-specific messaging, and execute integrated campaigns across digital, content and event channels. You will also harness the power of AI-driven marketing tools to improve personalization, streamline campaign operations, and drive greater efficiency and performance measurement. Your leadership will ensure that marketing is a key driver of growth and visibility for these high-priority, fast-evolving business segments at HCLTech.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic marketing partner for the newly formed Public Sector Services (PSS) and Partner Ecosystems (PE) segments. Collaborate with business leaders to translate high-level objectives into actionable, integrated marketing strategies that support growth, differentiation and market expansion. Develop annual and quarterly marketing roadmaps aligned with segment priorities, resource constraints and go-to-market milestones.
  • Campaign Management:
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive awareness, engagement and lead generation. Ensure campaigns are deeply connected to business outcomes and tailored to resonate with public sector and partner ecosystem audiences.
  • Digital Marketing:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across email, social media, web, search, and paid media. Use AI-powered tools to drive efficiency, enhance personalization, and improve targeting. Continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights to maximize engagement and conversion across the buyer journey.
  • Events & Sponsorships:
  • Strategically plan HCLTech’s participation in key industry events, conferences and partner forums. Oversee end-to-end execution, including pre-event promotion, on-site engagement and post-event follow-up. Ensure each event aligns with business objectives and contributes to pipeline development, thought leadership positioning and strategic relationships.
  • Content Development:
  • Lead the creation of high-impact content tailored to the needs and challenges of public sector clients and ecosystem partners. Collaborate with internal experts and external partners to produce thought leadership, case studies, blogs, video content, and collateral that support brand elevation, demand generation, and sales enablement.
  • Stakeholder Alignment & Business Integration:
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams—sales, delivery and executive leadership—to ensure marketing strategy is aligned with evolving business goals. Stay closely connected to ongoing business updates, client conversations, strategic initiatives, and deal activity to ensure marketing remains proactive and relevant.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, public sector priorities, funding cycles, and competitive moves. Act as an internal consultant by bringing market intelligence and customer insights into strategic discussions.
  • Budget Management & ROI Tracking:
  • Own and manage the marketing budget for PSS and PE. Track spending, ensure alignment with strategic priorities, and secure necessary approvals. Monitor and report to guide investment decisions and resource allocation.

Requirements and Skills

  • 7-8 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in the public sector or working with government clients.
  • Experience in marketing technology, consulting, or professional services.
  • Familiarity with public procurement processes and government sector dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies and digital campaign execution.
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing programs.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics).
