Job description

Lineage is a permanent home for plastic surgery and aesthetics defined by elite physicians and operational excellence. Our first acquisition is in the SF Bay Area, with three additional de novo locations built to date. We are executing a buy-and-build strategy with a long-term view on how we grow practices, and we are on track to generate $30 million in revenue in the near term. We are currently at $15 million in revenue, growing quickly, and expanding into new markets.

We are a hands-on team of entrepreneurs that hold ourselves to high standards, move with velocity, and believe everything starts with people.

Our vision: To be the permanent home for plastic surgery and aesthetics — defined by elite physicians, operational excellence, and a platform built to grow.

What drives us:

  • — Operational Excellence: We hold ourselves to high standards and move with velocity. Good enough is never the goal.
  • — People First: Everything starts with people — our physicians, our teams, and our patients. Culture is not an afterthought.
  • — Built to Scale: We are building the infrastructure, systems, and team that will support a national platform — starting now.
THE ROLE

Marketing at Lineage is not a support function — it is a growth driver. The Marketing Manager owns the end-to-end marketing execution for Lineage and its practice brands, building the programs, content, and campaigns that fill schedules, grow patient panels, and position our practices as the definitive destination for plastic surgery and medical aesthetics in every market we enter.

You will report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the CEO, practice managers, and clinical teams to ensure that marketing strategy translates into real patient acquisition and retention. You will operate across both the platform level (Lineage brand, employer positioning, and acquisition marketing) and the practice level (Aesthetx and future brands), tailoring strategy to each audience while maintaining consistency across the portfolio.

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable building a content calendar, running a paid social campaign, and sitting in a strategy session with the CEO. You move fast, you are comfortable with ambiguity, and you know how to prioritize when everything feels urgent. You have a sharp eye for brand, a data-driven mindset, and a genuine interest in building something that lasts.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Brand & Content Strategy
  • — Own the content strategy and editorial calendar across Lineage and Aesthetx — social media, email, website, and collateral — ensuring every channel reflects the brand voice and drives measurable engagement
  • — Develop and maintain brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and positioning documents for both Lineage (platform) and practice-level brands
  • — Write, edit, and oversee production of copy across all channels — from patient-facing social posts and email campaigns to physician recruitment materials and corporate communications
  • — Manage external creative partners, photographers, videographers, and agencies — brief well, review tightly, and hold to brand standard
  • — Build a content library that gives the practices a consistent, on-brand toolkit to execute locally without recreating assets from scratch
  • — Plan and execute paid and organic digital marketing programs across Google, Meta, and other relevant channels — manage budgets, optimize performance, and report on CAC and ROI
  • — Own SEO and local search strategy across all practice locations — ensure each practice is visible and well-represented in local search results
  • — Manage the patient review strategy across Google, RealSelf, and Yelp — drive volume, respond to feedback, and flag clinical concerns appropriately
  • — Build and manage email marketing programs including patient nurture sequences, treatment campaigns, and re-engagement flows
  • — Track, analyze, and report on full-funnel marketing performance — from impression to booked appointment — and use data to drive decisions
Practice-Level Marketing Support
  • — Partner with Practice Managers at each Aesthetx location to execute local marketing initiatives: community events, referral programs, seasonal promotions, and in-practice activations
  • — Build scalable, repeatable marketing playbooks that allow practices to run effective local programs without requiring custom support for every initiative
  • — Support new practice openings and service line launches with go-to-market plans, launch content, and promotional campaigns
  • — Maintain the practice websites: keep content current, ensure accuracy across locations, and manage updates in coordination with the web team or agency
  • — Coordinate with practice teams on patient communications — appointment reminders, post-visit follow-up, and treatment education sequences
  • — Support physician recruitment marketing for Lineage and its brands — ensure job postings are compelling, on-brand, and distributed across the right channels
  • — Build and maintain a consistent employer brand presence on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other relevant platforms
  • — Develop content that tells the Lineage story to prospective physician partners: what we stand for, what we offer, and why it is different from other consolidators
  • — Collaborate with HR and People Operations on candidate-facing materials that reflect the brand
Events & Community
  • — Plan and execute patient-facing events across practice locations: open houses, patient appreciation events, educational evenings, and seasonal activations
  • — Develop and manage a referral partner outreach program — build relationships with PCPs, OBGYNs, dermatologists, and local wellness partners
  • — Build a calendar of community programming that keeps practices engaged with their local markets year-round
Reporting & Operations
  • — Own the marketing tech stack: CRM, email platform, scheduling and analytics tools — ensure data is clean, integrated, and actionable
  • — Produce a weekly marketing report covering channel performance, campaign status, and key wins or issues
  • — Manage the marketing budget: track spend, identify efficiencies, and reallocate toward what is working
  • — Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership clear visibility into marketing's contribution to practice revenue and patient growth
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
  • — 4+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of brand, content, and digital marketing programs — not just execution of assigned tasks
  • — Proven track record of managing paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta) with measurable results and clear attribution
  • — Strong writing and editing skills — you can move between a patient-facing Instagram caption, a physician recruitment email, and a strategy memo without losing voice or quality
  • — Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, or creative partners from brief through delivery
  • — Comfortable with marketing analytics: you know what to measure, how to pull it, and how to use it to make better decisions
  • — Highly organized self-starter who can manage multiple concurrent programs without dropping anything
  • — Able to operate independently in a lean team environment — you build the playbook and run it
Preferred
  • — Experience in healthcare, aesthetics, wellness, or a similarly regulated consumer category
  • — Background in multi-location or franchise marketing — balancing brand consistency with local relevance
  • — Familiarity with medical aesthetic services, procedures, and the patient journey in an elective care setting
  • — Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms; Nextech familiarity a plus
  • — Prior experience at a startup, PE-backed company, or high-growth environment where resources are lean and speed matters
  • — Graphic design skills or comfort with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite a plus
WHAT YOU'LL GAIN

This is a rare opportunity to own marketing at a platform that is building something genuinely different in aesthetic medicine — with real budget, direct access to the CEO, and the chance to shape how multiple brands present themselves to the world from the ground up.

Professional Development
  • — Ownership of both platform-level and practice-level marketing — a breadth of scope rarely available at this career stage
  • — A clear path to Senior Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing, or VP of Marketing as the platform scales nationally
  • — Your fingerprints on the brand architecture, voice, and marketing infrastructure that takes Lineage to $50M and beyond
  • — Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • — Fully remote — corporate team is distributed, with occasional travel for practice visits, launches, and offsites
  • — Generous PTO + 8 Paid Holidays
  • — 401(k) with Employer Match
  • — FSA & HSA options
  • — Life Insurance, Short & Long-Term Disability, and Legal Plan provided at no cost
