Job summary

Zip is seeking a Marketing Scientist to own and advance its foundational marketing ML models at the intersection of customer behavior, marketing, and business strategy. You’ll shape how Zip acquires, retains customers, and allocates budget through predictive modeling and actionable recommendations.

Expect to lead technical work, collaborate with data scientists and analysts, and communicate insights to engineers and marketing leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science.
• 3+ years applying Data Science to marketing.
• Hands-on experience with Marketing Mix Modeling and/or multi-touch attribution.
• Ability to bridge technical depth and business communication.

Responsibilities

• Own foundational marketing ML models and frameworks.
• Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations for campaigns.
• Provide technical guidance and peer review to the team.
• Collaborate with engineers and marketing leaders to drive impact.
