Job summary

Mead & Hunt, a renowned national architecture and engineering firm, seeks a Senior Marketing Coordinator for its Food & Beverage group. The role is based in multiple U.S.

offices and requires leadership in proposal development, content creation, and marketing strategy to meet annual plans and budgets. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of relevant experience, marketing or related degrees, and a track record in technical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/related field plus at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Or an Associate degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• If no degree, at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in architectural/engineering or technical service industry is preferred.
• Strong strategic planning and market research capabilities.
• Experience leading and developing proposal responses (RFP/RFQs).
• Ability to translate technical language into engaging stories and content.
• High quality copy editing and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategy and provide guidance on marketing materials quality control.
• Lead the proposal development process, including go/no-go, content, and design.
• Strategize with business units to meet plans and manage annual marketing budget.
• Lead interview preparation and develop marketing content library.
• Create cohesive tradeshow themes and pre-/post-conference campaigns.
• Develop and manage annual marketing plan schedule and budget for the unit.
• Coordinate business development needs with marketing materials and data.
• Review processes for improvements and carry out other tasks as assigned.

As a result, a full-time position is available for a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our Food & Beverage group. This exciting opportunity is available at the following office locations: Middleton, WI; Fenton, MO; West Allis, WI; Bloomington, MN; and Denver, CO.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee strategy and provide guidance on quality control on marketing materials.
• Lead the proposal development process, including go/no-go and proposal kickoff meetings, content creation, strategic input on project and team selection, layout and design, and close-out/archiving.
• Strategize with applicable business units to meet strategic plan and business plan goals and support annual marketing plan management, including tasks, schedules, and budget.
• Lead the interview preparation process.
• Develop and manage marketing materials/content library including presentations, project descriptions, resumes, thought leadership content, and cut sheets.
• Create a cohesive theme for all tradeshows within the identified business unit.
• Develop and implement pre- and post-conference campaigns.
• Develop and manage the annual marketing plan schedule and budget for the identified business unit.
• Coordinate business development needs and provide appropriate marketing materials, research, strategy/themes, and data/reports.
• Review processes and procedures for improvement.
• Other tasks as assigned.

A valid driver's license and occasional travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have a combination of education and/or experience totaling eight years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus at least 4 years of relevant experience

OR

• Associate degree in marketing or related field plus at least 6 years of relevant experience

OR

• If no degree, the successful candidate must have at least 8 years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

• Experience working in architectural/engineering or another technical service industry

• Strategic planning and opportunity or market research
• Leading & developing proposal responses (RFP/RFQs)
• Translating technical language into stories and easy-to-digest content
• High level of quality and detailed copy editing
• Proven organization, problem solving, and strong communication skills.

• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Power Automate, etc).

Salary Range: $74,000 to $98,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
