Job summary

Greater Baltimore Committee is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to lead local and national media relations, owned channels, and major events. This role partners with PR agencies, senior leaders, and vendors to translate regional priorities into audience-focused storytelling.

The successful candidate will drive strategy, supervise cross-functional teams, and apply analytics to strengthen channel performance and demonstrate impact for the Baltimore region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years in marketing, communications, public relations, media relations, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead local and national publicity efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead local and national media relations programs, including pitches, press materials, and outreach.
• Coordinate with publicity partners and senior leadership on priorities and timing.
• Develop media activity calendars and story opportunities.
• Prepare executives and partners for interviews and public appearances.
• Monitor local media coverage and provide strategic recommendations.
