Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC seeks a Senior Market Development Manager to lead market analyses and identify new business opportunities in the US power sector. You will develop strategic insights, evaluate ISOs, and guide investment priorities with senior leadership.

You will build relationships with regulators, industry partners, and internal teams while mentoring junior colleagues. A Master’s degree and 8+ years in market analysis or strategy are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or advanced degree in STEM, business, or related field.
• 8+ years in market analysis, business development or strategy in US power sector.
• Strong knowledge of US power market fundamentals and ISOs preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive market analyses to inform corporate strategy and investment priorities.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in power, data centers, transmission, and energy storage.
• Create competitor, market, and customer analyses to guide strategic initiatives.
• Prioritize target markets at state/ISO/offtaker levels and craft winning strategies.
• Provide ongoing market intelligence and present recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor junior team members within Strategy group.
