Job summary

Schneider’s Transportation Management (STM) in Sarasota is seeking a Senior Market Specialist to manage key carrier relationships within a specific market and to generate capacity to service customers and exceed sales goals.

You will also coach a team of freight brokers assigned to the same market, prospect for new carriers, and negotiate transportation services to grow business using data and market insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, sales or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Confident speaking with carriers and making outbound calls.
