You will analyze data across sources, support regulatory filings, and ensure accurate SOX testing and testing of controls. Strong Excel and Power BI skills, plus knowledge of MISO markets, are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree in business and 4–6 years in Finance, Accounting, Regulatory, or related field.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
• Knowledge of MISO charge types and settlement statements relationships.
• Experience operating a third-party shadow settlement system.
• Proficiency in Excel pivot tables, macros, and data analysis.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Copilot prompts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues, analyze data and develop solutions.
• Compile, organize and format data for internal and external reporting.
• Support regulatory initiatives by gathering data and preparing schedules.
• Design test scripts and perform testing for internal controls (SOX).
• Understand MISO market settlements and reconcile related statements.
• Document work thoroughly and accurately.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
